whew

So I was actually doing quite well early Thursday morning, with the only hang-up being that I woke up from my 9 o'clock at 10, meaning I was late for work... but anyways I did well the rest of the day, but at 1 am I was starting to feel really sick and so this weekend I went home (Powell) to get some medication.. mainly ganja... and now I feel great again. First night of this attempt

wowzuh's....

So, due to falling asleep every... 30 seconds or so while reading, I'm going to take a mid-term nap, as it were. Right now I'm preventing failure by continually hitting snooze on my phone alarm, resulting in it buzzing me back to life every 5 minutes.

-------

Alright I made it to my mid-term nap time. Packing up my hw, gettin dressed, already set the alarm, and clothes are in a bag ready to go when I wake up! Now please wake up, Byron. Oh Goddamn please fucking wake up I don't want to fail again lol...

workout

Alright so here I am. Up and about at 5:41. Feeling tired. But that's alright. I have a history paper to write still, which I hope to complete before about 7, when I will change into jogging clothes and head to the Rec. I'm meeting a friend there at 7:30 whom I was supposed to meet there this morning, but didn't due to my failing this experiment and falling asleep at 1 not to wake up til 9:30. Anyways, I've got a paper to write.

Alright...

So I haven't posted in a while. Not like anyone reads this, but whatever. So I've been going for the past 3 days now, but have failed twice in that time span: This morning and yesterday morning. But today is a new day! Plus I have a PHL paper to write... about the cosmological argument, first cause, the possible infinite regress of the universe through a cyclical universe, and further defense of that argument before a surface-y skim of the influence or possible effects from alternate dimensions and so on. You know, normal stuff. I got a new haircut too. woot. mohawk... I've also developed an actual night-time layout as well, so the only problem(s) that remain are not going to bed after turning off an alarm and making sure that I set the alarms (correctly). The latter I've mastered, so it really is just a self control thing now, rather than a "falling asleep while doing homework in the basement/study room" kind of thing. Basically what I'm doing is between 1 and 5 I'm doing homework and watching a tv show replay every half hour or so as to keep myself entertained and such. Between 5 and 9 I jog to the Rec center, lift, job back, and then it's time for breakfast, which I eat liberally slow, and then I finish up a little bit more homework (I'm usually safely attentive by this point). So I've got my plan to help me stay awake... it's just the waking up part that's a problem now. I also want to note that I wasn't posting for a while because I was afraid that posting success stories was jinxing myself haha. Good old me fighting superstition while holding superstitious beliefs and acting according to them. whatever.
